This handsome map comes from the 5th edition of Meyers Konversations-Lexikon. Eine encyklopadie des all gemenien Wissens. (Meyers Conversation Lexicon - An Encyclopedia of General Knowledge), published by Hermann Julius Meyer in Leipzig and Wein (Vienna) Germany in 1897.
It was printed in High German.
Because of the large size of the map, it was folded inside the book.
The original size of the map is 12 1/2" x 9 1/2" but this reprint was enlarged to accommodate our archival page protectors.
